At Healing Points, we work with our patients to create an individualized treatment plan to aid in healing and overall health. Our work strives to provide relief of the symptoms you are currently experiencing and address the root causes to promote wellbeing for life.

Meet Megan Pierson
Originally from Aberdeen, South Dakota, Megan spent 12 years in Minnesota where she completed her graduate program and received her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Megan spent six years working for New Ulm Medical Center in Minnesota as a licensed and NCCAOM board certified acupuncturist. In 2023, she returned home to Aberdeen and opened her private practice, Healing Points to provide a variety of Traditional Chinese Medicine services.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture sessions may utilize multiple modalities within Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, Gau-sha, food therapy, and topical herbs.
New Patient acupuncture treatment - 90 minutes: $115
Follow Up acupuncture treatment - 60 minutes: $75
Acupuncture + Herbal Medicine
New Patient treatment + consult - 120 minutes: $150
Follow Up treatment + reassessment - 75 minutes: $90
Herbal Medicine
New Patient consult - 60 minutes: $75 plus cost of herbs
Follow Up reassessment - 30 minutes: $45 plus cost of herbs
Cupping
Cupping only session - 30 minutes: $45
Scheduling with Healing Points
Feel free to schedule online, call us at 605-252-3198 or email us at healingpointsllc@gmail.com to set up your appointment. New patients will be emailed paperwork upon booking your first appointment with Healing Points. Please fill out the new patient paperwork prior to arriving, or plan to arrive 10 minutes early. If your appointment is for an herbal consult, please bring a current list of all medications and supplements to address contraindications.
Please note that if you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment (new or follow up) you may need to reschedule. If you are going to be late, please call and we will accommodate as possible. Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Late cancellations with Healing Points will be subject to a 50% fee.

Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time of service. Forms of payment accepted include cash, Venmo, debit/credit, and HSA/FSA cards. Healing Points is not in-network with any health insurance providers, and we are not able to bill insurance (health insurance, auto, or worker’s comp) for services provided. If your insurance plan covers acupuncture services, we are happy to provide you with a receipt or superbill for you to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We encourage you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flex Spend cards to pay for your treatment if possible.
